Khash Vosough

Dr. Khash Vosough completed his medical training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (the UMDNJ) and received his Medical Doctorate in June of 1993. Dr. Vosough became the Chief Resident of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical CTR in Paterson, NJ in 1996 and received his board certification in 2000. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Vosough began performing extensive training and developed a specialization in Operative Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy, culminating in a Chairmanship for the OB-GYN Department at St. Mary's hospital in Passaic, NJ. Beginning in 2004, Dr. Vosough performed a plethora of LH, LSH and Laparoscopic Myomectomy procedures, Burch and Laparoscopic Burch procedures amassing high level expertise and developing a reputation for enabling quick patient recovery. Dr. Vosough has been practicing medicine in New Jersey for the past 11 years. He opened his first practice in 1998, which now has 10 offices, 15 physicians and 2 midwives.

In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Vosough has spent the better half of the past 7 years developing innovative medical techniques and ideas for medical facilities and companies. In 2005, he helped develop a new machine designed to smooth out cellulite, which later was approved and sold on the market; worked on behalf of Boston Scientific to train attending OB-GYNs on usage of synthetic mesh tapes to correct incontinence as well as mesh placement for vaginal facial defects; evaluated innovative ideas for development of future Johnson & Johnson products in the surgical field, helping Johnson & Johnson receive a patent in 2007 for safety improvement of their uterine morcellator. Additionally, Dr. Vosough worked on a multitude of personal patents, including improved uterine morcellators, new crib design to reduce SIDS – Sudden Infant Death Syndrome – and a cost effective device to help reduce child drowning as well as an Improved dog leash designed to reduce injuries caused by rapid pulls.

In 2006, Dr. Vosough co-founded SA Medical, which started as an organization dedicated to providing qualified surgical assistants across NJ to help with both simple and cutting edge cases. Within the past few years, SA Medical has developed into a leading medical management, billing and staffing organization.

His professional memberships include the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
